I'm not too concerned because it offers similar performance to my R7 360. I'll look on eBay for an i3 or i5 just to compare.

Get him this alternative instead. 3€ and plenty of enjoyment! It should work well on his PC since it's from 2005. Same concept, a significantly improved version.

He sacrifices visual accuracy for performance. His GPU consistently matches the FPS of my AMD R7 360 in similar titles such as Warface, especially at ultra settings during the Battlefront beta. I suspect this stability will keep his GPU functioning well.
