I recently completed Dishonored plus its expansions and really enjoyed them. I’m thinking about getting Dishonored 2 if it drops in price (£40 feels a bit high), but the early reviews mentioned it was poorly optimized and performed poorly. Does anyone here have Dishonored 2? Have performance problems been fixed or are they still an issue now?

Further studies suggest additional insights. If you'd like, I can share more details.

The issue is clear—there were many mixed reactions. Some found it acceptable, others thought it could improve but wasn’t fully resolved, and a few still considered it broken.

It's not as terrible as before, though it still feels clunky in appearance—just because it looks decent doesn't mean it performs well. Still, it's an improvement over its original state.

I'm running the game on a standard desktop setup with a mid-range processor and an integrated graphics card.

I purchased it a couple of months back and it performed well at 1440p. My system specs are listed in my profile (the main change was using an i5 at that time). It wasn’t quite at Ultra speed, but I kept around 60+ FPS with occasional drops into the 50s.
