It's a ready-made system with just a one-year warranty. I'm planning to wait until next year when the warranty ends before upgrading to an SSD and adding more RAM. I've confirmed there are four RAM slots available.

It's true, achieving 144fps at 1440p on a GTX1070 is challenging. I've experienced that too with my 1070 and a 165Hz G-Sync display.

Playing 1080p on a 1440p screen appears poor because scaling isn't smooth. A GTX 1070 can handle modern titles at 60 FPS at 1440p with adjustments, but hitting 144 FPS will be tough. I own both a GTX 1070 and a 1080p60 monitor and still need to tweak settings in newer games for steady 60 FPS.
