No one else reported losing all network features after the latest updates. I had pending updates scheduled for last night and went to bed. When I woke up, it had restarted completely and nothing remained. All adapters appear in Device Manager, but none show up in the adapter settings under Network and Sharing Center. There’s no icon on the taskbar. I removed it from devman and reinstalled manually, but it didn’t work. This hasn’t happened before, and the troubleshooting tools aren’t identifying any issues.

I connected an Ethernet cable to it. As expected, it didn’t work. It’s confusing how they appear in devman but not everywhere else where they should be. I tried this because the troubleshooter said no incoming connections were detected. Using a tool didn’t seem to assist the troubleshooter either.

If I had something I shouldn't have said before my last visit for assistance, I promise I regret it. I don’t recall anything clearly, but that doesn’t prove I didn’t know. It’s unclear what the issue might be. Usually, when I’ve asked for guidance before, people respond quickly and thoughtfully. I was always grateful for their help and hoped they understood my apology. If this isn’t enough, I’ll try again—just in case.

It might have several possible causes for the issue. There could be no one with the expertise to assist you. Others might be too occupied to help in this forum. The update could simply be a standard Windows patch—review the update log and consider rolling back or uninstalling it if needed.

It was just a normal update. Eventually I managed to locate it, though after going through the basics I tried various other approaches. I wasn’t sure which one actually worked. That’s what I assumed at first. Then the second attempt came after every few minutes, and I wouldn’t have worried much if it took some time. We’re discussing days for the first one, and once it passed, I began doubting whether I’d made a mistake. My mind started to question things. Just in case, I thought about possibly offending someone and wanted to reassure them I didn’t intend any harm. There could be countless reasons why things turned out differently. I really appreciate this community—everyone here has been much more supportive than anywhere else. I’m glad I made it clear.
