I assembled my initial PC and everything proceeded smoothly until it requested internet access to complete the Windows installation. I resorted to a solution I discovered online to proceed, but now I’m left without Wi-Fi in my configuration. When attempting to install the newest drivers via USB, the process stalls entirely. The BIOS confirms Wi-Fi is active, yet no reliable resources offer a fix. Any advice or insights would be invaluable.

Confirming driver installation for chipset, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other features. Incorrect drivers were set due to Gigabyte using identical board names with revision 1xx—simple to fix.

Remove outdated software, delete the device, clear the device manager. Install the newest drivers, fix any issues. Or why reinstall Windows just in case? When you chose the offline install, it took care of auto-detecting and updating devices with the best available drivers.

I've attempted to reinstall Windows via Ethernet, but I'm still missing any Wi-Fi options. The device manager doesn't show a Wi-Fi adapter, which makes it hard to know next steps.

I'm using a gigabyte Eagle X870 board and the driver I attempted is "mediatek wifi 7 driver." I can get the files, but the app doesn't launch.

Also looked at the "Realtek WIFI Driver" v6102.24.126.1 released on March 3rd. Seems distinct from the WIFI 7 version—it could mean two different WiFi chips are available with the board, so you need the correct driver. Updated: I verified there are two chip types based on board revision (Rev 1.0 vs Rev 1.1).
