You might need to point Windows to the folder with the unzipped files, but it should usually locate the drivers and work properly. If it can't, it will tell you it can't find the drivers and prompt for a location.
I've encountered situations where the system displays an outdated driver even though it's not present. Removing the device and restarting can sometimes resolve the issue. Recently, this happened during an upgrade for a family member; the onboard GPU had an old driver, but Windows 10 thought it was the latest version. I ended up needing a manual update.
