I'm using a Netgear Nighthawk WIFI6 router at home as a Wi-Fi access point. On my Windows 11 PC, I can easily connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands without any problems. However, I don't have internet access on the 5GHz band, and I'm experiencing issues with the 2.4GHz as well. My Wi-Fi card supports WIFI6 (802.11ax), and I've confirmed those settings are enabled. I'm using the newest Intel Wi-Fi drivers and even updated my BIOS to see if that would help. I've searched everywhere online and even reached out to Netgear for advice, but they haven't found a router-related issue. My connection works perfectly on my phone and MacBook Air M1. Could anyone assist me? I'm happy to share more details or screenshots if needed.

Welches spezifische Netgear-Modell verwenden Sie?

I never used Wi-Fi on my desktop, but after moving into this new apartment I don’t have a way to run an Ethernet cable. The problem started when I got my wireless network card. I think the issue isn’t with the card because I’ve tried another one from another company and it still worked the same. I suspect I’m not getting proper DHCP on the 5GHz band, but all my attempts have failed (Check some of the steps here: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/unable-to...hcp-server). They don’t use the same SSID, so I can test and use my PC on the 2.4GHz band. My router is a Netgear Nighthawk AX4 RAX35. Thanks.

I haven't found webOS easily, but I'm checking for a different DHCP configuration in the 5GHz range. If that doesn't work, try setting a static IP to test. For your XR500, it's likely similar—search for enabling a unified SSID so both networks share the same SSID and automatically switch between bands.
