I created a new setup with 32 GB RAM (two 16 GB units) and ran Windows 10 Pro on a 250 GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD. When I checked Task Manager, the committed charge looks a bit high (around 64 GB). Should I accept that? I kept my page file managed since I don’t mind it and with only 32 GB it won’t consume much space. I’m also not worried about the SSD’s capacity—since I won’t be installing games or heavy software there, just the OS will use it. The main reason I asked is that my C drive tends to grow over time due to save games (like Skyrim, which can be 20–50 GB), documents, game mods, and log files. That’s why I reserved the 250 GB for the system drive. If I leave it at 64 GB, will I run out of space? Also, how can I lower the committed charge without shrinking the page file?

You could simply adjust the pagefile size to 8-12 gigabytes. That should be sufficient for the foreseeable time. I currently have 16 gigabytes of RAM with a low threshold at 4 gigabytes.
