Same subject. All warning indicators activated before stabilizing on green. Only error lights visible. No indication of active operation beyond those warnings. No cooling fans engaged. The system stayed green during a deep dive into error codes, then I noticed a burning odor with the CPU cooler fins getting hot. I switched it off right away, but it remained in that condition for several minutes. I thoroughly verified every power connector. Inspected the pins before installing the CPU, and I’d rather not re-seat unless it seems like the most probable fix. I’m prepared to invest if this is the root cause. I found a possibility of pressure issues with the CPU cooler. To test quickly, I gently pressed on the cooler during startup and the power cut off abruptly. That’s a strong clue. I’ll keep working through the troubleshooting. Ryzen 5 9600X RX 7800 XT T-Create DDR5 2x16 6000MHz (both correctly placed, double-checked.) Kingston SNV3S/1000G NVMe M.2

By gently removing the cooler from the CPU, you can inspect the motherboard pins and the CPU itself. The adhesive may lose some effectiveness after repositioning, yet it should remain functional enough to avoid further issues. Also review the manual for details on diagnostic LED indicators, as their colors often match particular components. Did you adhere to the instructions (and any accompanying manuals) while putting together your PC?
