Hello, I'm wondering if my PC is getting in the way. It's having trouble keeping 100+ frames per second in COD Warzone. I'm using 1080p resolution with all low graphics settings to make the most of my 144Hz monitor. Switching to ultra mode drops performance by around 10-20 FPS. My system specs are: Ryzen 1600 B450 GX 1080 Ti, 16GB RAM, 3200MHz RAM.

Challenging? Maybe a bit (at 1080p) - yes

It seems like you're considering an R5 1600 with a 1080 Ti processor for gaming at 144Hz. For better performance, you might want to sell the 1600 and upgrade to something like a 3600 or higher. A 3100/3300X could also boost FPS, though I'm not certain Warzone would handle lower-core CPUs well—some titles might struggle.

Avoid the Ryzen 3 with a 1080 Ti. If you plan to upgrade, choose models with six or more cores. Make sure your BIOS is current for 3rd generation Ryzen support. How much RAM do you currently have?

It's the 12nm 1600 AF version, the newer one.
