Hey there, the title captures everything. I chatted with a friend who was a bit embarrassed about playing Minecraft… I guess it’s not exactly common knowledge, right? He mentioned he didn’t want people to think he was nerdy, which made me wonder if Minecraft is seen that way. Is it considered nerdy? Probably not—I think it’s a really enjoyable game, and I’d love to hear what others think!

In the gaming scene, I don't see much of it. It's another title with a loyal fanbase. Remember, I'm not a big player. To me, it's just like World of Warcraft—those who enjoy it do, while others miss it.

It seems like you're suggesting that people might view Minecraft as a sign of being too young or immature.

But I wonder if so. I’ve met a few friends who still enjoy playing, even in their 40s… It’s a game that appeals to people of all ages.

It's just a matter of being geeky if you're always in Minecraft gear.

I shared my view on how people see things. I didn’t state whether the perception is correct. It’s clear, though, that Minecraft’s audience is mainly young, and most related products and creator content target children. I believe individuals should enjoy the games they like without worrying about others’ opinions (except a few cases). If you think folks will criticize it, it makes sense to stay quiet rather than defend your preferences.
