I've been spending more time browsing on my laptop lately, which inspired me to find better ways to use the available vertical screen space. I recalled accidentally pressing F11 a few times before finding it odd and amusing. However, I didn't rely on it because I had enough space (thanks to the 4:3 aspect ratio) and it removed toolbars when not needed, which was annoying. I looked for a method to hide toolbars and discovered it was easy—right-click the minimization icon in fullscreen and uncheck a box in the dropdown. The screenshots are complete and untrimmed views of my desktop, which I really liked. I've started browsing this way on my laptop exclusively. For the desktop, I now use the 'Undecorate' feature in LXDE that hides the title bar of open windows, so I don't have to stare at it when a window stays maximized. What do you think? Do you have any tips for saving screen space?
I don’t rely on full screen. I’m using one monitor and constantly multitasking on my PC, which isn’t practical for me.
I mostly rely on YouTube TV, Web.Air Droid, and a few websites to watch in full screen like TV. Only occasionally does it happen.
I was used to working while the browser was running, which limited my ability to use full screen.
