I tried it a while back, but now it's really tough to locate old hard disc copies of games nearby, and most platforms won't let you join Steam.

I cherish this sentiment deeply. I often purchased it digitally first, but if I truly connect with it, I’ll settle for a physical version when it becomes affordable.

i love to have the boxes and dvd's i don't know why but when possible i do like to buy my PC games at best buy or something...yes i must admit i must be old school but i like to get something for my money! Naming all the games i own on hard copy would be too long i have many of them on a shelf the most recent one being GTA 5 which is awesome.

I just purchased The Witcher 3 in physical format. It was the most affordable choice, included extra items, and could be exchanged for digital access on GoG. Perfect combination!
