Usually not, but I’ll try if a game causes big FPS jumps like AC4. I’ve done it before.

Yup Vsync configuration, 60 FPS on ultra is all I require. It doesn't matter if my GPU can handle it—it just adds more power use and heat with minimal visual gain.

Avoiding v-sync is essential. Input lag bothers me a lot, while tearing is manageable and uncommon in most titles.

I keep the frame rate at 60fps to avoid unnecessary GPU strain when aiming for 200 fps.

In games with frequent tearing I cap it at 60, my refresh rate adjusts accordingly.
