No icons present, not even the recycle bin. I’m considering placing some back and organizing them with fences. You could double-click the desktop to toggle showing or hiding icons, keeping the interface tidy while avoiding a cluttered taskbar and starting menu.

On Ubuntu I prefer keeping things tidy and rely solely on Dash. My Windows computers, however, tend to become disorganized.

No problem. The desktop icons are not visible. The recycle bin and file explorer remain on the taskbar.

I don’t click once. I often launch many apps in quick sequences, so I found it frustrating to start each one from scratch. That’s why I organize my icons.

On my personal PC there are no icons visible, though if they existed they would be neatly arranged and limited to a maximum of two full columns.
