The instructions suggest starting with Windows Update, followed by the motherboard disc which handles audio, networking, and Bluetooth, then moving to the GPU. Check if anything is omitted.

Thanks. I thought about installing Windows 8, but I wasn't sure if you should try the Wi-Fi card first. Actually, since you only have a USB dongle for internet access, it might not be necessary.

windows manages a wifi driver (though it may not be optimal) but should remain stable as long as the motherboard drivers are properly installed and working.

Ensure you install the Chipset (mobo) driver initially... otherwise, other installations might not work.
