That would be a DDNS, note the extra D. noip.com.

For a complimentary DDNS solution, choose NO-IP. I manage two dynamic hosts there and everything functions perfectly.

I chose No-IP and am currently at the forwarding step of the port. How can I identify the type of router I'm using? I'm not very familiar with software or IP settings... *bows politely* Please guide me, wise individuals!

Run CMD in Windows and enter "ipconfig". Check for "Default Gateway" which should show an IP like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Paste that number into your browser's address bar to view your router details. On the page, you’ll see your router’s model if it displays it. If not, look for the sticker on the router itself that lists its model.

You can forward your link via email or messaging apps. Make sure to include the relevant details so they can access it properly.

For a domain like example.ddns.net to point to your IP address (e.g., 214.236.40.122), you don’t need to portforward anything. You’d only need to forward ports if you’re running services such as a Minecraft server and want users to access them through your NO-IP domain.

You're encountering a denial of access when trying to forward a Telnet BBS port. The system blocked your request. Here are possible next steps:

- Check firewall or security settings on the server.
- Verify the correct port number and protocol are allowed.
- Contact the host or administrator for assistance.
- Consider using a different port or method to access the service.
