I possess a single stick of 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM from HyperX Fury, and I'm considering a matching 16GB stick to enable dual-channel performance. My current setup uses 8GB of 3200MHz RAM, and I suspect the bottleneck might lie in the memory rather than the CPU. There are no listings for a 16GB stick priced within my budget except in dual kits, which are hard to find. The RGB model I’m interested in matches my existing system, but I’m unsure if HP’s overclocking tools will recognize it as the same unit.

Uncertain about the details. Cannot find information on RAM/XMP settings in the BIOS, but Omen's "Control Center" lets me adjust the HyperX stick's speed. Modifying it with Corsair doesn't change anything, it remains at 2133MHz.

The HyperX stick operates at 3200C16 or 3200C20/22 with voltages of 1.2V or 1.35V.

Check technical documentation or manufacturer resources for "C16-C20/22" specifications and associated voltages.

The Omen's 'Control Center' doesn't mention CPU-Z or the SPD tab. Install it and check the documentation.

The Fury stick supports 3200C22 at 1.2v according to the JEDEC profile. Corsair models likely don’t match this spec. At 1.35v with Corsair accessories, only 3200 is feasible. The Omen appears to require 1.2v RAM, similar to most prebuilt units. You’ll need a matching HyperX stick or a fresh 2x16GB setup such as Crucial CT2K16G4DFRA32A or Patriot PSP432G3200KH1.

Yes, it should still function the same way. The ratings apply to the overall product, not just the RGB feature.

The stick must have a JEDEC profile for 3200 MT/s at 1,2v. Mostly that kind of sticks have a fastest JEDEC profile of 2666. @BearyBear here's a Fury 3200c16 with a JEDEC of 2400 https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX43...3K2_16.pdf
