I assembled a computer for my younger sibling and once it was powered on, it started up in BIOS. After exiting, it displayed "no signal HDMI." I used an RX580 from my previous machine and reinserted it, making sure all connections were secure. Even when switching to a different HDMI cable, the issue persisted. I also tried connecting it to another PCIe slot, but nothing changed. I’m not sure what to do next.

The fans begin to spin and I can access the BIOS, but exiting BIOS displays a no signal HDMI error. It works properly when booting into BIOS, yet the HDMI connection fails afterward.

Typically the motherboard would show an error message similar to "Boot drive not found." This might happen briefly, giving your screen just enough time to locate the issue before it disappears. Lacking an operating system is a significant warning sign. Consider installing one first.

It helps knowing BIOS is visible on the screen. Think about creating a bootable USB and trying to start the Windows install from there using BIOS settings. (Or whatever OS you prefer)
