Msi b550 and 3700X will not post, debug leds act as it is in a post loop, boot led flashes, then vram, then repeat. No display. Brand new kit of vengeance pro. So far I have tried: one stick of ram (tried in each slot) cleared cmos and replaced battery two psus two gpus reflash bios to latest
If you've already flashed the bios to the correct version and have redone the installation just to make sure everything is seated and plugged correctly and it still doesn't post, then you either have a compatibility issue ( which is common with those CPUs) or a hardware failure. You have to get spare parts( a different stick of RAM first) and see what works.
The 3700X lacks built-in graphics, so you’ll need to check it with a simple GPU. One stick of RAM is recommended only in DIMM A2; avoid other DIMMs. You might want to re-seat the CPU. Is this inside a case? If yes, remove everything from the case and test on a non-conductive surface such as cardboard. Do not press the power button for a minute while unplugged.
I’ll pick up new RAM tomorrow and do a retest, probably just outside the case, using only the basics.
Good luck! It seems unlikely both RAM sticks are faulty, but...
