I'm just playing some games and then my computer shuts off. I can't turn it back on. Is it possible the power supply is dead? How can I test it myself? If the motherboard is faulty, what are the signs? It's a brand new build that's been used for about a week.

which devices are you employing?
psu, motherboard, ram, gpu, cpu cooler, cpu, gpu, hdd, ssd, additional equipment
test the psu with a paperclip method
