Ensure the device is securely connected. Does your system identify it? 3. When recognized, navigate to disk management and verify it’s formatted with a drive letter. If missing, right-click and select "New Simple Volume" or "New Volume." Proceed through the prompts. Previously, this resolved my problem; alternatively, you can transfer drivers onto another computer using a USB flash drive.

When collaborating with colleagues or friends about a system whose specs or hardware aren't clear, I typically download and use Speccy from Piriform. It displays the hardware details, then I look up the appropriate drivers online and install them. Doing this makes everything smooth—happy camper! Cheers

Get all drivers from the manufacturer's website. The chipset manages most of them.
