I gathered the two 4TB HDDs and placed them in my machine, assuming I could format and click "mirror" as shown in online guides. The process didn’t go through. I also attempted to use Windows storage spaces for mirroring, but it failed due to insufficient space. Eventually, I set up a RAID 1 array, which seems to be functioning properly. It’s frustrating because I feel I need W11 Pro to create a mirror drive for basic data protection, or maybe I’m missing something very simple.

I managed to pick my two drives for the space, yet when I pressed go it halted me and stated there wasn’t enough room to complete it.
