Board: MSI A320M PRO-VH PLUS CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G RAM: Kingston Fury 8gB 3200MHz EZ DEBUG led stops at cpu, I removed the cooler to inspect it, but the CPU isn’t heating up. I tested various RAM sticks, but the issue remains consistent. Could it be a connection problem with the AM4 socket or is the CPU dead?

Replace the CPU, add the RAM, and run a test again. Check the pins carefully during this process. If it fails, unless the pins are straight, it might point to the board itself rather than the CPU.

Did you purchase the motherboard and CPU together or did they arrive separately? Considering the A320 chipset, the motherboard's age and the CPU you used might affect whether it supports microcode for Ryzen 2000 models—possibly requiring a BIOS update.

Bios was the newest version, while Motherboard had stopped working. The CPU functioned properly in other systems.
