When you power on the machine do you notice the Asus logo on the screen? Is it possible to access the setup menu through the BIOS? If not, are any of the EZ Debug lights illuminated on the motherboard (such as CPU, DRAM, VGA, or boot)? This will indicate the underlying hardware issue.
