No Display
No Display
I was assembling a fresh system again (for my sibling who used old components). When I inserted the GPU (GTX 970, 4GB) into my primary PC, temperatures stayed normal. But when I tried it on another motherboard, nothing happened. The fans were spinning, but the display wouldn’t activate. Any solutions or fixes? Thanks, Rzaex
This suggests the motherboard GPU slot might be faulty, as the fans were running strongly while the GPU was fully seated.

You can perform a CMOS reset on your i5 3470 using the BIOS settings or by holding the power button for a few seconds. If you need further guidance, let me know!
Different GPU settings produce identical outcomes, suggesting a potential problem with the motherboard or CPU. Can't you rely on the integrated graphics? It's possible the board lacks display outputs. The manual should guide you through resetting CMOS, but a reliable fix is to disconnect the PC, remove the CMOS battery (usually a large watch battery on the lower side), power the system off while it waits, then wait a minute, and after that, reinsert the battery. Considering the CPU's age, the battery might be dead, leading to posting issues, so replacing it could be necessary.
Changed the CMOS battery, motherboard model H61M-P31(G3) LGA 1151. No display ports available. Just missing the old cable (blue, not sure what it is).
