I rely on the ISP's AP Hub combo device, yet it works with various routers including Asus and DLink, not just the one I own.

I sometimes rely on a VPN for privacy. Also, a few people mentioned that adjusting the DNS settings didn’t help.

Only a portion of the information an ISP gathers comes from DNS query data.

Consider trying it again—it's completely free.

Discussing DNS, the Korean government is now monitoring illegal material both through HTTP (using DNS) and HTTPS (by listening to sni fields and packet interception). A solution isn't possible without a VPN. This affects all ISPs (probably just consumer ones) and is enforced by governments. It's tough to put into words with my language skills, but it feels like having a strong firewall from China in Korea. (Except we don't monitor political views... yet)

Certainly! Here are some alternative phrasings:

- A few VPN services offer excellent performance... you could consider trying one of them.
- Some VPN providers excel in speed... it might be worth switching to one of these options.

I already have it on my PC, Android phone, and tablet. It uses Cloudflare’s DNS service (1.1.1.1). I’ve also set up a VPN server on an AWS instance—definitely not the most practical AWS use case!

It's encouraging that both ROC/Canada support free expression, maintain net neutrality, and avoid scanning data. The Constitutional Court in Taiwan even canceled a government ban on child pornography due to technical reasons, not censorship.
