Hey guys I have good new for you Today is the first time ever, that I am able to have a PC with legal copy of Windows. This means I have 1 illegal game... that is Grid Autosport. Why I do I mention it? I have steam with 100 games, and there was this game on sale. I wanted to try the game, how the cars handle ( I mean it is pretty basic, that it gives the feel for the game) so I was looking for a demo.. but I found none. I had no other choice then pirate the game and try it. And I decided well, as I saved £15. The cars did not handle as I wanted, the game was frustrating, not fun. Since then I have not played the game, it is just sitting on my HDD. But here is my point. if they would make a small demo, like they did on Grid, I would not do that. We need only 1 or 2 map with 2-3 cars. We just want to see if it works. So I cannot say I am completely against pirating. Yes, it is an issue and it must be solved. Many people do not do like me, they do not buy the game if they like it. But demos would definitely help
I support more demo options. I enjoy the PSP feature where you can try a game for an hour or so to see if you like it.
Demos benefit users but harm businesses. Without a demo, consumers must buy the game to legally test it. A demo might lead players to be content and skip purchasing the full product.
