i have h1z1 on steam but i'm really disappointed. daybreak didn't let me unban me because of a quote about helping a hacker and not reporting them—that’s accurate. can i remove it from my collection and then buy it again? if yes, i can’t do that since i’m struggling financially and i’ve saved all my money for a cool build i’m planning. i made a post about it (check the link if you want). would anyone be open to giving me your second steam account with ark and rpg maker vx ace as a gift in exchange for my main h1z1? that way, i can get a game i deleted. another question: if you just buy h1z1, do you also get h1z1 king of the hill, or do you need to buy it separately? i’m confused after the split.

Removing a game from your PC doesn't remove it from Steam—it just clears it from your local system.

When purchasing H1Z1, you register using a Daybreak account which connects to Steam. I considered switching to a different Daybreak account after buying the game so it would link back to Steam, allowing me to play H1Z1 with a fresh account.

What are the main points? You can't remove a game from Steam after buying it; it stays linked to your account unless you receive a refund.

Don't remove it. Steam offers a way to take the game off your library. Just open the game, go to the support section in the left sidebar, and select the option to delete it permanently.

You can remove a game and I’m struggling because I don’t have space to purchase it. I’ve saved around 4k for my PC so far, but I still need about 2k more.

It functions similarly to a library, according to @jkeasley. As noted by @Godlygamer23, your Steam account led to a ban. The only alternative is to set up a new Steam user and buy the game again through that account. You may need to appeal to the developers for a more lenient outcome, since you weren't the one causing the issue. It could be a challenge, but at least you have another chance.

You have the option to delete games from your Steam account permanently. It appears this process is available via the web interface.

I also attempted but it failed. I waited two months for a response. That hurts because you can’t share the same account and I don’t want to create another one just to play that game.
