Hi everyone. I'm facing some issues with my new setup. The WiFi connects fine, but the Ethernet doesn't seem to work properly. When I switch or turn off the adapter, it takes around 30 seconds for the network to appear—either unrecognized, correctly identified, or it takes 30-60 seconds to set up. This prevents me from accessing the internet, which is really annoying. Details: ISP router (Infinitum HG8245H), Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, Asus Z370-E. I've tried connecting the cable to another PC (Windows 7) and it works there. I ran ipconfig release/renew but the renewal failed because it couldn't handle the disconnection. I really need your help to fix this. Thanks!

Consider downloading the newest driver via your laptop, placing the installer on a USB drive, and connecting it to the new system before installing. If this approach fails, attempt to flash the latest BIOS using the identical steps.

You may have missed it. With internet access on your new device, how should I prepare to update the BIOS? I’m completely unfamiliar with the process.
