Isn't it okay? Since the keys weren't taken, I should still be allowed to keep them. Just to be sure, I haven't lost any keys yet, though I've heard about cases where people did.

It’s extremely improbable unless it resembles an original title.

The concern is that the keys might have been acquired through fraudulent means. This could involve stolen credit cards being used to buy the keys and then selling them on platforms like g2a for profit to the seller. The main problem seems to lie in how the keys were obtained and delivered to you.

Your vehicle should be recovered if it was taken without your knowledge.

Occasionally the locks on G2A are compromised; they rely on counterfeit cards to purchase keys, and Ubisoft often doesn’t receive payment. When keys are stolen, they incur expenses, which might explain why you’re seeing stolen credentials in use.

It mainly depends on where it came from. If it was bought using fake or prepaid cards, then it applies.

The method used to get the key isn't illegal, but how it came from Ubisoft could be. You don't have the right to keep something that wasn't yours, even if you weren't the one who took it.

They might provide it even then, but G2A is required to supply a new key or issue a refund.
