Hey guys
I just upgraded my GPU from a RX580 4gb to an RTX 2070 8gb and my CPU from an i5-8400 to an i7-9900.
My FPS in PUBG is 62 max. It was that before these changes, so no change even though I now have more cores/threads and a better GPU.
Could my monitor be the reason?
Thanks

Do you have a monitor with 60hz refresh rate and VSync turned on?

On the 60hz it's unclear if VSync is a monitor setting.

Turn off or disable the vsync in game settings. Also make sure to disable it in the GPU control panel. You also need a better monitor.

I purchased an ACER nitro series 280hz gaming monitor and I’m still experiencing a frame rate of 62 FPS. Vsync is disabled. Do you have any suggestions?

Fixed my problem …
Adjusted the FPS cap in PUBG. From unlimited to 300 and now I have 150+ FPS.
Not sure if it was the new GPU/CPU or the new 280hz monitor, but happy to have gained almost 100fps.
Thanks !

Sorry, I wasn't able to reply. I was out of service in the woods. Hope you managed to figure it out, though.
