Hey, the issue keeps happening—just a brief flash for a few milliseconds followed by nothing. You’ve tried swapping the CPU, changing the motherboard, removing the GPU, and even using the paper clip method to test the PSU. It still works when you disconnect everything except the motherboard and CPU. Since all your components are brand new, it’s hard to pinpoint the problem. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks a lot!
Previous experiences I've faced include Ram misplaced in incorrect slots (depending on the board). The Bios doesn’t handle CPU missing, possibly due to a required ritual sacrifice. Hope this helps! Feel free to share any solutions you discover. I’m really interested.
It doesn’t seem to be about the BIOS or CPU since everything worked fine before I added an AIO. The missing cable is probably the issue, so I checked all the motherboard and components thoroughly. I’ve tested every RAM slot with a single stick. Appreciate the suggestions, but this has really confused me—especially after spending a lot on new parts recently. Thanks!
On a separate unit, obtain the BIOS update from the manufacturer's website for your motherboard. Then place the USB into the BIOS flash port and activate the flash BIOS button. Ensure your CPU and motherboard cables are properly connected.
The choice between "instant flash" and "windows" BIOS version doesn't affect your N7 B550 in terms of functionality or performance. Both options are compatible with the system.
