Hey everyone, I bought a ship last year and played with it. I checked the hangar last year but now I’m back to check the game status and notice my ship missing. It seems I might have two identical ships—probably a mistake when purchasing them. If I exchange one for in-game credits, should I get the standalone version? Are there any steps I need to follow to see them in the hangar? I can find the download link for the squadron 42 download, but is it available yet? Thanks!

They likely updated it so you need to manage it directly now. Head to your desired location and notice the HUD icon on the floor. Tap it, then position your ship there. The interface is quite basic—like a clunky wood-chipper with irritated badgers—but it’s their initial approach to an in-game Hanger Management system. Expect improvements as you progress. A quick tip: this same method lets you adjust ship loadouts while in the PU, making it much more effective.

It sounds like you're excited to return and test something out. Do you have any details about Squadron 42 you'd like to know?

It's whispered that it might be released sometime in the fourth quarter, though that seems like a broad guess. I'm leaning slightly positive about completing SQ42 within that window.

Also, regarding your duplicate ship, it could be a gift (you might want to verify the melt value) or an oversight on your end. If you can melt it, do so since duplicates of the same ship offer no advantage unless you intended to give or lend it. Be careful not to melt your game package, as this would eliminate your access to SC/SQ42.

You want to modify your standalone version instead of the package, so I’ll look for a suitable HOTAS option.

The X-55/56 project is no longer in consideration because of low production standards. I'll let @Corwin111 handle it next.
