Hey everyone. I made a huge mistake. My Acer S7-391 runs Windows 10, and I tried to set up Zorin OS by using a Ventoy USB drive with ISO files. At first, I couldn't boot from the USB, but once I changed the BIOS to Legacy mode, changes saved and I rebooted. Then I saw the Ventoy logo and the ISO images of the operating system. I went ahead with the installation and Zorin prompted me to delete my existing Windows install. I agreed and received a message about partitioning and RAID settings in the BIOS. I haven’t touched RAID or understood it much. After the Acer logo, I pressed CTRL+I and saw a ROM for Intel Rapid Storage. Could you help me boot into Zorin OS? Or should I try restoring Windows 10 Pro instead? My laptop is now completely unusable.
It seems you're working with a setup involving two mSATA drives forming a 256GB storage unit powered by Intel RST. To enable Intel RST RAID, you must use UEFI, not BIOS. If you need to run an older operating system, you'll have to remove the RAID configuration in the RAID settings of your last BIOS entry, then switch the interface in your BIOS from RAID to AHCI or SATA.
