I own a Fujitsu d3161 b1 with the d3161 b1x BIOS. Currently I run an i5 3330, and I’m thinking about upgrading. Online I discovered it can support i7 2/3 Gen. Generally, unless it explicitly states compatibility with Xeons, it does not.

The E3 1270 is a single socket Xeon, it generally functions but I recommend verifying with Fujitsu first. I don’t have experience with their motherboards, so I can’t confirm a sure answer. For ASUS and Gigabyte models, E3 1155 sockets work fine. But you’ll miss features like ECC support found in Xeon processors.
