I'm planning on getting a corsair h100i, so I've been watching youtube videos and everyone seems to put the radiator on the top side of the case but my case doesn't have room for any more stuff up there, I've seen other people sticking it on the front of the case but mine has a cage for the hard disks on there, the only place left is the bottom of the case but I don't see the 240 mm mount necessary to hold the radiator so I'm totally lost here, do I need a new case?

I had a case quite similar to yours... I actually installed an H110i on the front using L brackets and attached it to the hard drive cage. It doesn't look great and is really annoying because everything has to be aligned perfectly...
I agree with Maken's idea of just getting a new case with proper mounting. I'm a big fan of Thermaltake and they offer affordable, decent cases in their collection.

Order a case priced around 30-40$, you might be able to reduce the current one.
However, the quickest and most economical choice is to install an air cooler. AIO water coolers aren't worth it given their cost and performance. The h100i will only achieve a maximum of 3-5°C cooler compared to a 212 EVO or cryorig H7.

I experienced that situation before! I wouldn't attempt to install a radiator in that device. The top would need major changes, and I'm not confident it could function properly even then... due to the numerous brackets holding everything in place.
