There's not a lot of DDR3 ram's anymore and I can't buy a new cpu and motherboard at the moment just to get ddr4, so I bought the only available sticks I could find which are 1800mhz, since I thought that my mobo supports that speed, even though it's a cheaper one. It however supports only up to 1600mhz, so what should I do now, should I run the 1800mhz sticks I already got (which I think should run at 1600mhz nonetheless) or should I return them and wait for the pretty much equally priced 1600mhz ones to get shipped, which could be days?

That board is likely a 1600 model. If it can only go up to that number, it will be adjusted to 1600, though the exact model remains unclear.

If no suitable profile exists, the system will default to 1333 MHz and continue operating. Keep in mind the voltage requirements—DDR3 L sticks operate at 1.35V, whereas standard DDR3 sticks need 1.5V or higher (especially at high frequencies like 1866 MHz). Avoid mixing sticks with different voltages; doing so may cause technical issues.
