I included the website link to confirm what I was viewing. To discover your motherboard model, you can check your system's BIOS settings or consult the manufacturer's documentation.

Both images and the provided URL are 1Rx8 DIMM examples. Everything should work fine.

On the image I see a possible 1rx4 shape maybe because of the 8 blending with the X, right?

Pretty sure OP just wants to expand the RAM in his desktop. ECC is just an unrelated tangent svmlegacy and I accidentally got on.

Could you confirm whether the RAM image on the linked page shows 1Rx8? I assumed it was 1Rx8 because of the low quality, but the X and 8 might look mixed up.

I saved the picture since clicking it didn’t trigger any zoom effect. After uploading, it seemed to compress properly, but now it zooms in unexpectedly. It looks like your mouse pad might be deteriorating on your laptop. Thanks everyone for your patience!

That confirms it, 1Rx8. It seems like a simple mix-up. I've had the same experience. Reading those monitor labels can really be frustrating.

When uncertain, match your RAM model. Various brands are acceptable if the speed and width match. Adjusting frequency and timings is generally acceptable since the system will settle on the slowest module. Some gaming boards don’t support this feature, but you can access BIOS settings to restrict it. Personally, I’m unsure about mixing different widths unless you’re experienced, as most of my RAM stays consistent.
