I understand XMP can cause problems often. My PC setup is now running 2133 MHz instead of the expected 3k, which will become apparent after overclocking. I'm using G.Skills Ripjaws V Series with 4 x 8GB DDR4 3000MHz sticks. After enabling XMP, I encountered an immediate BSOD—likely a "System thread exception not handled." I restarted and briefly played a game, which worked for a while. Since XMP didn't resolve the issue, I'm wondering how to properly tune it now. Also, my system is a B450 Aorus Pro with Wi-Fi.

I notice that using the XMP/DOCP configurations is effective. You might want to relax the timing settings—such as changing from 14 to 15 or 16—to improve stability, though it’s possible to proceed without adjustments.

Consider using 2933MHz instead of 3000 and enable XMP, while setting the RAM speed to 2933.

Yes, even in advanced mode in BIOS you can still access certain settings and options.
