NFS World: The End...
You might be aware that NFS World is shutting down. It's time to say goodbye to this old game. Five years have passed since the servers started running, and now it's coming to an end. Even though it hasn't finished yet, the shutdown will occur at 9 AM PST on July 14, 2015 (servers will be taken offline by then). I remember playing NFS World when it first began—it was a great game. And my Year 2 car...
The main positive aspect was the use of the nfsmw term. However, it wasn't a great experience when companies shut down such games, particularly multiplayer ones. I hope they would release a dedicated server version or even provide source code. That sounds ideal, but it's not realistic.
Played it for about a year, almost every day, and became pretty hooked. But the pay-to-win system really bothered me. All the exciting moments and cars were only accessible with real money. Eventually, the IGC models turned out to be incredibly expensive. I saw many players spending huge sums just to keep up with those cheap, low-quality cars. It’s nice to see them now facing the consequences. The game had great promise, but the greed of EA really damaged it.
