I’d like to buy NFS Rivals with my buddy so we can play together online. I’m wondering if it’s possible, especially since it’s an older game—maybe their support is no longer active? Also, if you can’t play Rivals online with a friend, what other games can you play online instead?
Uncertain about multiplayer functionality, but the game seems quite inactive. It was already inactive when I began playing in 2014/15.

NFS rivals offers a solid experience with impressive vehicles and less frustration compared to other games, where you might get penalized for mistakes. NFS mostwanted is appealing and distinct from others, especially in multiplayer mode where it reduces traffic. It also features good cars and a balanced game. However, Need for speed payback online has poor performance, unbalanced mechanics, confusing rules, and is considered the worst multiplayer experience.
It's uncertain about the current status of NFS multiplayer. It seems EA manages it, but we're not sure if all games support it.
