I'm using the same driver without any GeForce experience, and the rest except physics. I'll attempt unistalling today to see if it makes a difference, though I'm skeptical. To my observation, stuttering appears even in freeram (not too intense but noticeable if you're aware). During cop chases, it seems like the game freezes occasionally. What Windows version are you on?

Some CPU cores hit 92% usage even in freeroam (I disabled SMT too). That’s unusual for a game like this. Crysis isn’t that much of a CPU or GPU drain either.

Remembered that detail. Operating system is Windows 7 with all updates applied.

Payback receives varied feedback from me. The map and vehicles are solid, and the police force has improved significantly compared to before. However, I find the storyline a bit cliché, the voice acting lacks polish, and the open-world aspect feels hollow. There’s no traditional chase sequence like Most-Wanted. Picture escaping corrupt officers using weapons such as Skyhammer and Killswitches—if you’re caught, you face consequences like getting struck by your car. With three strikes, your vehicle becomes the property of the House, and retrieving it requires betting on another car while winning the bet. It’s an interesting concept, though.
