Choosing too many items can lead to issues, particularly when they affect identical resources. This may result in missing textures, bugs, or crashes. The safest approach is to install one at a time and test it, while also checking the authors' notes for compatibility with other major mods that alter the same assets.

Thank you for your question about Sarana mods. I won't have any issues if you select various mods—such as making Sarana cute, young, or enhancing her appearance—and combining them to achieve a young, cute, and flirty look for Sarana.

The maximum number of esp files is 255. Up to 5,000 script and texture mods are acceptable (though excessive).

Thank you for your message. I recently explored Nexus Mods, reviewed 40 pages, and focused on all available English bug fixes. The amount of work is quite large, especially when it comes to fixing bugs. I also selected many quests, choosing 1800 mods. Some people doubt they could manage 5000 mods, but mods are meant to enhance Skyrim’s appearance and performance, making it closer to the look of Horizon Zero Dawn. Personally, I think 5000 mods would be effective. There seems to be confusion about how many assets exist—developers don’t claim 5000 assets across 50 categories. A modder on Nexus should create a system that automatically organizes all mods in the correct order. I’m puzzled by the lack of clear code organization and the size of the city mod library. There should be a detection feature on the Nexus site to help users remember which mods they’ve selected, especially when choosing multiple city mods. Also, remembering over 90 pages must be challenging.

Your inquiry includes several variations. The key idea is understanding the balance between ESMs, ESPs, and mod counts. You can include as many texture mods as desired, as they usually don’t count toward the total. The maximum number of mods with ESMs and ESPs is generally limited to 255 or 256. But with xEdit (on Nexus), you can combine many ESPs into one, which might reduce the load order impact. You might be able to manage a large number—potentially thousands—if you consider texture mods and merged ones. Be cautious of script conflicts, especially if you're unfamiliar with the process. It’s better to use Mod Organizer (MO or MO2 on SSE) rather than Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). I haven’t tested Vortex yet.
