Arrived at the office this morning with my work laptop and connected everything. No network connections detected—laptop and phone aren’t reaching Wi-Fi or Ethernet. My Linksys WRT1900AC works, but others are fine. Restarted both devices without success. Disconnected all adapters, docks, and dongles; even tried resetting the router. Got any suggestions?

Check if they use a fixed IP address. If you disconnect another device, will you still be able to connect?

In an enterprise setting, the internal network is typically kept separate from unknown or non-work devices. Only authorized equipment—such as company-owned items—can join the WiFi and Ethernet connections. Different ports aren't really useful here. These restrictions are necessary for security reasons.

Check for the link connection indicator or see if Windows reports a disconnection.
