Hi, I looked through similar discussions before and most of them were about AMD builds.
Here are the details of my system:
CPU - Intel I7 12700kf (new installation)
MOBO - MSI B660-A Pro (new installation)
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 MHz CL16 2X16GB (one stick is the new install, timings unchanged, only version differs)
GPU - Gigabyte Windforce 1080 8GB OC. (Connected via first PCIe slot)
PSU - MSI MPG A750 80+ Gold
CPU Cooler - MSI Mag Coreliquid C360 (new installation too)
M2 SSD - Placed in shielded M2 slot M2_1
Problem - When I press the power button, the case and radiator fans begin spinning. The EZ Debug LED turns yellow, then red, and this cycle repeats for both CPU and DRAM. After about five cycles, the DRAM LED stays red.
I've tried several fixes:
1. Removed one RAM stick and tested both in the second slot (as recommended by MSI).
2. Performed a clean POST by disconnecting all peripherals.
3. Used only one 8-pin EPS connector and one 1X8-pin + one 4-pin connector.
This motherboard lacks a BIOS flash button, so updates aren't possible until it enters BIOS mode.
I've checked compatibility lists from build tools and others, but they all agree.

Please help!!!

verify the CPU socket connections on the motherboard, checking for bent, broken, or discolored pins
test each dimming slot individually

When starting a new PC equipped with an Intel 12700kf CPU, MSI B660 board, and Corsair RAM, flashing EZ Debug lights change between CPU and DRAM before getting stuck on the latter. After trying fixes like re-seating RAM, taking off peripherals, and tweaking EPS power connectors, the system still doesn’t boot properly and there’s no way to update BIOS without access. I believe the issue may be related to incorrect motherboard socket pins, which could explain the failure.

I will share a photo of the CPU socket so everyone can together check for any issues with the pins.
