Good morning everyone. I'm facing some challenges with my newly assembled PC, especially when it comes to gaming. The build process went smoothly, and we managed to install Windows 11 Home (still unactivated) along with all the required drivers. However, after attempting to download and play games on Steam, I encountered significant issues. Once the installation was complete, launching any game would take an unusually long time—ranging from 25 to 30 seconds for Stardew Valley to over six minutes for Elden Ring. It seems the performance depends heavily on the game size. After some troubleshooting, I cleaned and reformatted the SSD, then reinstalled Windows on a different 500 GB drive. Games started launching more quickly, and after re-formatting the 1 TB SSD, everything functioned properly for a week. But yesterday the problem returned, affecting both SSDs, and no improvements have been made since.

Regarding the build details:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600, 3.8GHz, 32MB
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI
- GPU: Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
- Cooler: Noctua NH-U9S
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5
- RAM: Crucial Pro DDR5 32GB Kit (2x16GB)
- SSD: 500 GB Crucial P3 Plus (with OS), 1 TB Crucial P3 Plus (extra space)

I've updated all possible settings—Windows, drivers, etc.—and have asked for any advice. Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions. Cheers!

Is the 1TB SSD defective? Would you like me to initiate a return authorization?

It seems we missed the deadline. After adjusting and it functioned again, I didn’t see a good reason to send it back. The issue is figuring out why both items might be equally problematic.

It seems like you're asking if everything went smoothly with the 500GB storage?

You're eligible for a claim. The 500GB drive was functioning properly.

It seems you're questioning whether a solid-state drive would fit in the M.2_3 port and if a GPU would work in the PCIEX16_2 slot.

You're right, it appears both SSDs are experiencing the same problem now, not just the 1 Tb one.

The slots on the motherboard are marked, and you can also consult the user guide.

Alternatively, you can access the Task Manager Processes section and arrange it by disk usage. Observe the applications or games that launch during startup. Poor third-party antivirus programs may lead to slow performance, for instance.
