I recently assembled my initial PC and it has been functioning well so far. I frequently changed the GPU, which forced me to repeatedly power on and off the power supply, eventually reaching a point where it wouldn't turn on at all. Is this related to the PSU or is it because I'm making mistakes?

Did you set up the mounting brackets beneath the motherboard?
Which pin configuration were you using for the CPU cable—4+4 or 8-pin?
What model and power rating of the power supply unit did you select?

Did you set up the standoffs beneath the motherboard? Did you connect the 4+4 pin or the 8pin CPU cable? What model and wattage of PSU did you obtain?

I believe the issue lies with the motherboard. It’s possible I damaged it during setup, which is unfortunate for a beginner. There are several methods to test if the motherboard is functioning properly, and common reasons for its failure include hardware issues or electrical problems.

The second inquiry was a yes/no question addressed with a positive response, and it holds significant importance.
