I examined my laptop a few months back and removed the RAM stick to check its performance against my desktop. When I put it back, it didn’t reach the speeds shown on the stick. The overall system feels slower now than when I first purchased it, even after two full reinstalls. My machine is an Asus F510Q with an AMD A12-9720P APU and 8GB of 2400mhz RAM. It’s using the Aptio Setup Utility from American Megatrends for what I think is the BIOS, version 2.18.1256. There seems to be no way to adjust the speeds directly in the basic BIOS settings. Any advice would be appreciated!
