I changed from Intel to AMD and performed a new Windows installation on a new M.2 storage. After shutting down the computer, I connected my previous drives, which held most of my apps and games. They show up in Windows Explorer, but it seems Windows doesn<|pad|> to ignore them. When I search, none of the programs show up, even though they’re on my old drives. All my Steam games appear uninstalled, despite being on those drives. I tried navigating to Settings > Downloads > Steam Library folders and adding the old drives, but it just creates an empty folder. I even moved my games into this new folder, yet nothing works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You’ll have to recreate it. You’ve finished setting up the folder and adding the games, now just pretend you’re downloading them again in the same location. Steam will locate and install the game automatically, then confirm it. The apps remain a mystery.

Users will have to reinstall the app. It might run by opening the executable, but system features like file links and context menus may not function properly.
